Finance Manager - Non-Profit (Washington, DC)
Small Non-Profit company near Eastern Market in DC with a focus on helping the at-risk community in Washington, DC is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to join their team immediately.
Position will include a heavy amount of work with account receivable and payable, general ledger, statement of cash flows and bank reconciliation. Will process purchase orders and invoices for vendor payments. Assist with the development, maintenance and organization of the organizational budget. Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Handle all payroll, tax, bonus, insurance etc. issues for employees of the organization.
Requirements:
MUST have a degree in accounting or similar field. CPA candidate preferred. 3+ years of accounting and payroll experience, preferably in a non-profit environment. Knowledge of accounting software required, preferably Ceridian. Must have a strong working knowledge of payroll processing and tax laws; federal, state and local. The ideal candidate will be able to work with little supervision, be organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
Starting salary of $50,000 plus benefits.
