Staff Accountant (Eagan)

Lancer Hospitality, one of the Twin Cities’ leading food service and entertainment companies, seeks staff accountant to work in our centralized accounting department.

The Job Responsibilities for this Position include:

• General Ledger account reconciliation.

• Monthly sales tax liability reconciliation

• Credit Card expense reconciliation.

• Journal entries as required.

• Data entry as required.

• Projects as assigned – will occasionally include light travel within the metro region.

The Requirements for this position are:

• Two Year accounting degree or equivalent experience.

• Microsoft Excel experience (mid-level preferred).

• Clear understanding of General Ledger concepts.

• Ability to work with deadlines and take a creative approach to problem resolution.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Special Consideration will be given to candidates with the following experience:

• Prior experience in food/hospitality/retail industry

• Crystal Reports

• Macro writing within Excel.

Lancer holds exclusive food service and catering contracts at some of the Twin Cities most well-known venues including Science Museum of Minnesota, Minnesota Zoo, Como Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, and Edinburgh USA. Lancer also runs an educational food service division delivering meals to elementary schools, secondary schools and day care centers and manages the food service and catering contracts at colleges in the metro area. Lancer manages Como Town Amusement Park next to Como Zoo.
